GROW-COOK-SHARE

Every year, we welcome up to 10 Barnet based families to our GROW-COOK-SHARE project. Each family is given their own raised bed on our farm for the growing season and is invited to attend fortnightly food growing and cooking workshops.

GCS is for families who do not have access to outdoor space for financial reasons and who have been referred via Barnet 0-19 Early Help Hub. Since starting the programme in 2022, we have welcomed over 30 families. Families who wish to continue on the programme can do so and we continue to build more beds year on year to enable this.

We will be recruiting new families to join GCS in March 2025.

If you meet the criteria above and want to be involved, please email lucy@wearegrow.org.

GRAHAME PARK
COMMUNITY GARDEN

This year, we have been working at the Grahame Park Community Garden and the neighbouring Saracens High School, supporting the local residents and students to develop the garden into a thriving and meaningful community space.

Through community focus groups and collaboration, the Grahame Park Garden has thrived into an appreciated community space, engaged with by over 550 visitors. On Fridays from March to October, the garden welcomes local residents and friends to community drop-in gardening sessions, and runs an after-school club for students of the nearby Saracens High School.

We will be continuing to develop the garden in 2025, with support from Notting Hill Genesis.
